As part of our topic on habitats, Year 2 took a coach to Slimbridge Wildlife Centre. Here we saw lots of different species of birds and learned about how otters have adapted to live in wetlands. As well as this, we went on a mini-beast hunt and got to use sound guns to amplify the sounds different animals made. We were really lucky as the weather was lovely so we got to play on the outdoor adventure area too. The trip was really fun but also helped the children learn a great deal about habitats.
