Year 4 have been busy journalists this week, writing newspaper reports about shocking events that have taken place recently.
In Literacy this week, Year 4 wrote lots of different newspaper reports about flying frogs and flying dragons.
Here are some of the features we included in our writing:
- Third person
- Past tense
- Fronted adverbials (when, where and how)
- Paragraphing
- Direct and reported speech
We enjoyed editing our writing to make it better. We are proud of the way this has made us better journalists!
