Year 6's online good deeds

07 February 2018

Today we considered what 'good deeds' we can do online to stay safe.

We made promises to ourselves for things we remember the next time we are online communicating with other people.

We thought about the difference between making people happy while gaming and how not to make people upset or sad while gaming.

"I am going to make sure I stop when someone says they don't like ithe way I am playing with them, says Gracie.

"I am going to help my opponent out when they are stuck while gaming", says Mahamud.

"I am not going to 'kill' people in games or they will have to start all over again", says Katra.

I will always send kind messages to my friends and family. And I will make sure that my friends are happy for me to share their pictures in the internet.

I am going to make sure that when we use the iPads, I remind children before we begin that if they see something that makes them unhappy or uncomfortable, they show and tell me straight away.
