Smoothie Bike!

13 January 2016

To mark the launch of our new Fit School initiative, Year 6 Kestrel spent the afternoon powering the smoothie bike to create a delicious, nutritious fruit drink.

Our visitors from Eden Food brought their specially adapted smoothie bike to Hannah More and ran a workshop where the class got to learn about a healthy diet and the importance of keeping our foods in balance.

They were then put to work as their legs powered the bike to crush up the fruit for their smoothies. After a lot of hard work and effort, the smoothies were finally blended and the class got to enjoy a healthy reward.

I have a website about this exact topic and I have to tell you, this is good material. It's given me several more ideas for my material i would never have considered. Whoever published this is doing a first-rate job.
