All children have had a pack posted to them.
In the pack children will receive,
- a letter from a friend,
- a stamp,
- an envelope
Support your child to write a letter back to their friend.
Please post these letters back to us!

Here is a letter format so you know how to lay is out.

Here is the school address so your you child knows what to write on the front of the letter (you may need to help them so the postman can read their writing!)
Please remember to write the friend's name on the envelope.
You may want to ask your friend one or two questions. Here are some question words.

Zoom Lesson starts at 9.00 am: Finished
Yesterday I announced that we are all receiving a letter in the post from a friend at school!
The letter will also include a stamp and an enevelop so you can reply to your friend.
Today we will:
- think about what we can write in the letter to our friend.
- we will again look at how to lay out a letter.
- look at how to write the school address on the front of an envelop.
Activity
Have a go at planning your own letter and write a draft letter.
A draft letter is when we plan a letter and practise writing it.
Draft letters are really important. They help us not to write the ‘wrong’ thing and know what we want write in the real letter.
