Courses for Parents

At Hannah More we are always keen to run courses and activities for parents and families. These are run by organisations like the Learning Communities team, or funded by grants that we apply for. Most classes are completely free and have a crèche  alongside as well.

Community Room extension

This Spring there are plans to build a new extension onto the community room, to provide a crèche, toilet and separate entrance. We were very pleased to receive ‘Community Infrastructure Levy’ funding, via the council, to complete this work. While the building work is happening we won’t be able to run parent activities in there. Conversation Club and Netball are continuing as usual, but most other courses will have to stop until the building work is complete. This is a really exciting project and will create a much more useful community space in the future! Click here for the architect's drawing. We will keep you updated abut the work as it happens.
