Happy Birthday Hannah More
02 February 2015Hannah More was born on 2nd February 1745. She was passionate about education and used her wealth to set up schools in the Bristol area. Our Hannah More school was originally built on the site of Trinity Road Police Station using money that Hannah More left in her will. In 1943 the school moved to our current building.
We celebrated the 270th birthday of Hannah More today. She visted us and we learned about the way people lived way back in the late 1700s.
We also had a competition between the classes to make the best cake for Hannah More!
