It has been lovely to get your Zoom sessions up and running last week.  We look forward to seeing more of you this week in your daily sessions.

Maths

Let's count up to 100 and exercise!

Today we are going to use our place value cards to make numbers in the 20s.  You will need the 20 card from your pack and the ones digits. Mrs Williams will go through a few examples with you.  Can you make all the numbers in the 20s? Once you have you may like to have a go at making numbers in the teens again.  Ask someone at home to challenge you to make a number.

Today Kati is helping you to make a sentence about some dogs in the water. Can you find the right pictures in your pack?

Maths

Today we are warming up by counting up to 100.

We are using the part whole model today to partition numbers in the twenties into tens and ones.  You can find the worksheet in your pack.

 

English

Today Kati is helping you to make a sentence about a cat at the vets.  You will need the picture from your pack and the colourful semantics cards: vet, looking, cat and vets.  If your child is able remember it is good to given them a selection of cards to choose from.

Warm up by singing up to 30 and back.

Today we are looking at partitioning numbers in the twenties using the part whole model.  You can find this model in your learning pack.  Some Lego or similar will help you with this activity. One you have watched the video have a go at partitioning the numbers in the twenties into tens and ones.

 

English

Today Kati is writing a sentence about a girl with a net.  You will need the colourful semantics cards showing: girl, playing, net and garden.  Give your child a selections of each colour if they are able.

 

Reading

Remeber to log-in daily to Epic books to practise your reading.  Kati has found a book on there that looks at rime.  Watch the video to share it with her.  You will also find you have been allocated the book as well so you can read it again after.

Join in with Jack Hartman singing up to 30 and back.

Today Mrs Williams is using Base 10 block on the computer to make numbers in the twenties.  You can have a go yourself on the Cool Maths for Kids Website.

Practise your number formation using the representation and formation sheet. You should find this in your pack.

How many words ending in 'et' can you remember? You may want to go back and watch the video from yesterday to remind you.

Today Kati is looking at how to make a sentence using the word 'pet'.  You will need your sentence building packs for this activity.  Look out the big picture of the family in a pet shop.  Your child will also need family, choosing, pet and shop from the coloured cards.  Depending on how they are getting on they may now be able to select from the whole sheets, some may need a smaller number possibly only a choice of 2 for each colour.

Maths

This week we are looking at numbers in the twenties.  Watch the song and the numberblock video before trying the activity.

Watch the Numberblock episode Twenty one and on to find out more about the numbers after 20.

For today's activity you will need some Lego blocks or something similar to make number from 21 to 29.  Watch the video of Mrs Williams showing you what you need to do.

This week we will be making sentences using words ending et.  Watch the video and join in the song.

Find the et worksheet in your pack and write the et words using your sounds,
