Answer these questions in your book:
1. In the story, how are we introduced to Badger?
2. "My dear old Badger," he said, "this mess you're in is all my fault..." "I know it's your fault!" said Badger furiously.
Why was Badger so angry with Mr Fox?
3. "Stop!" cried Badger. "Don't tease me! I can't stand it!" What does this tell you about how Badger is feeling?
4. Re-watch the videos and find an example of when Mr.Fox is feeling grateful towards Mr Fox. (This is another word for thankful).
5. In chapter 13, what do you think it means when it says that Badger is 'ravenously hungry'?
6. Listen to the 2 videos by Miss Goldsack again and think of 3 personality traits of Badger (a personality trait could be kind, mean, understanding, sympathetic...). For each one, list a piece of evidence that shows this.
Example: Frustrated. I know that Badger is frustrated because he shows his anger towards Mr Fox and explains that no-one can get any food and that everyone is feeling weak all because of what Mr.Fox has done.
