Today in Enquiry, you are going to make a string and cup telephone! You can try it with someone at home.
1. Watch this video explaining how to make it.
You will need:
- 2 plastic or paper cups
- A long piece of string
2. Draw a diagram of the cup and string telephone (and label it) and how the sound travels.
3. Write a paragraph to explain how it is possible to hear through a cup and string telephone even when each person is far away.
(Even if you didn't have the equipment to do this at home, you can still write an explanation in your book).
